Two
Dubuque Companies Expanding

Morrison Bros. Co. in Dubuque is proposing a nearly $3 million
facilities consolidation and expansion in Dubuque that would create 10
jobs. The Economic Development Board awarded the project $40,000 from
the Community Economic Betterment Account (CEBA) for 6 of the jobs and
Enterprise Zone tax benefits. The company supplies equipment to the
petroleum and biofuels marketing industry for fueling, bulk handling,
and transportation.
Dubuque Stamping & Manufacturing, Inc. is proposing a $3 million
expansion that will create 17 jobs. A 20,000 sq. ft. building will be
constructed to connect two existing plant sites in Dubuque that are
about 100 feet apart. Machinery and equipment will also be acquired.
Dubuque Stamping was awarded Enterprise Zone tax benefits to create 15
of the jobs. The company is a world class supplier of metal stampings
to more than 100 companies including Deere and Caterpillar.
