Accident Saturday Injures One Posted 24 June 2008 Magdalyn E. Elkin, 18, of Dubuque, sustained minor injures in a two-vehicle collision Saturday morning, June 21. Elkin's vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Donald D. Heim, 57, of Dubuque shortly before 10 a.m. Saturday morning. Elkin was parked facing north on Windsor Avenue, near Regent Street, while Heim was traveling northbound on Windsor Avenue. According to investigating officers, Elkin pulled out into traffic from being parked and struck Heim's vehicle. Heim was uninjured in the incident. Elkin was transported to Mercy Medical Center where she was treated and released.
