Farm
Progress Show will be Held in Iowa
Posted 23 June 2008
Organizers have announced the 2008 Farm Progress Show will go on as
scheduled, despite widespread flooding in the state.
The Farm Progress Show is slated to be held east of Boone Aug. 26 to
Aug. 28. It is the nation's largest outdoor farm show.
Much of the work at the 600-acre Iowa site will be finished this week,
including major earth moving projects and installation of perimeter
fencing. The restrooms and hard surfaced roads are nearly finished.
Field crops and plots have already been planted and are growing.
