Rose Festival this Weekend at Arboretum Posted 21 June 2008 The Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens will host their annual Rose Festival this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, June 21 - 22.   A Public Flower Show will be open for viewing today, Saturday, from noon until Sunday at dusk.   A presentation on flower arranging by Anne Berquist will be held in the Heinemann Center Garden Room this afternoon, Saturday, beginning at 1:30 p.m.   'Moonlight and Roses' will begin at 6:30 p.m. Saturday night in the McKay Plaza.   On Sunday, the Rose Festival concludes with performances by the Dixieland All Stars, at McKay Plaza, at 2 p.m. and the Rod Pierson Orchestra, in the Packard Shelter, at 6:30 p.m.   As always, the gardens and arboretum will be open for viewing all weekend.
