Seniors Eligible for Free Produce Vouchers Posted 17 June 2008 Scenic Valley Area Agency on Aging is offering seniors checks good for up to $28 worth of Iowa-grown produce through the Iowa Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program. Checks will be available to be picked up on Thursday, June 19, at the Heritage House in New Vienna from 11:30 a.m. to noon. Eligible seniors should stop by the locations to pick up their checks. The checks are good for locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables sold at participating farmers markets across the state, and may be used now through October.  If you have any questions, contact Scenic Valley in Delaware County at 563-927-5037 or Dubuque County at 563-588-3970.
